William O. Howland investment letters, 1911-1913.

Eight typescript letters sent to Howland regarding his investment in oil and gas companies in Colorado and California. Three letters dated August 1911 are from J. B. Five letters from 1912-1913 are from G. S. Johnson (two of them stockholder reports) reporting on the acquisition of the Midway Alliance Company by the Pyramid Oil Company, and the difficulties the Pyramid Oil Company later had with equipment and drilling for oil.
